This program is free and is available exclusively to consumers and home business owners in the State of West Virginia. The West Virginia Senate Bill 746 was signed into law and went into effect on June 6, 2008. If a takeback program has been implemented, the law requires that the manufacturer must provide a toll-free number and website address that provides information about the program, including a detailed description of how a person may return a covered electronic device. The program will accept the following device from household consumers, covered under the West Virginia law.
