The West Virginia Senate Bill 746 was signed into law and
went into effect on June 6, 2008. If a takeback program has
been implemented, the law requires that the manufacturer
must provide a toll-free number and website address that
provides information about the program, including a detailed
description of how a person may return a covered electronic
device. The program will accept the following device from
household consumers, covered under the West Virginia law.
● Televisions
● Monitors
● Notebook computers
