)and §1043 of the New York City Charter, the Department of
Sanitation ("DSNY") has published its final rules concerning
E-Waste Plans and the other requirements of Local Law 13.
The final rules were published in the City Record on April
15, 2009 and are also available online. For more information
about the Statewide Electronics Recycling Program, please

The takeback program has been implemented, Hannspree North
America is providing a toll-free number and website address
that provides information about the program, including a
detailed description of how a person may return a covered
electronic device. The program will accept the following
device from household consumers, covered under the New York
City law.
