This program is free and is available exclusively to consumers and home business owners in the State of Maryland. The Maryland Environment-Statewide Electronics Recycling Program House Bill 488 was signed into law and went into effect on October 7, 2007. The takeback program has been implemented, Hannspree North America is providing a toll-free number and website address that provides information about the program, including a detailed description of how a person may return a covered electronic device. The program will accept the following device from household consumers, covered under the Maryland law.
